techmanGoogle & Kosmix, Something Old, Something New

I've said it before, but, then (when I said it) I didn't know about Kosmix. What I had said is: there are other options besides Google.
Google is great. But sometimes I get tons of pages that, no matter how I word my search, won't give me what I'm looking for.
So, I go over to Pandia, or Alta Vista and look for a different response. And, usually get it. Now that I think of it I should include Ask, since I've been using them a lot lately.
So, now I found Kosmix. And I really like it. It pulled results (good ones) that the other search engines didn't, to my surprise
So, if you aren't finding exactly what you want, as quickly as you need, you might want to give them a try.....

Yes, there are alternatives to google
For those of you interested, there's a really good article about getting absolutely the most/ best info you can on a subject here: University of California, Berkeley.
It includes google, but others as well. Even info on creating your own search engine.
