There is a new threat to yhe xbox 360 and PS3.
You heard me right and its only $300.What if you could stream the best top-end games to your TV, just like a Youtube video that you can control just like a video game? You would never need to buy a game console everagain.
That's the future brought to you by Palo Alto startup OnLive, who plans to launch a new gaming service this winter. OnLive will supply players with a tiny set-top box, not much bigger than a portable hard drive or DS, which will plug into your TV and your home high speed internet connection. From there, you can start playing games just like those on the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC, but with no install time, no waiting for downloads, and no need for big, loud, expensive consoles that clutter up your living room. OnLive's service can be upgraded, too, so you will never be stuck with obsolete hardware again.
